“12Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his crosspowers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it” (Colossians 2:12-15).

“15And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, forthe redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called mightreceive the promise of eternal inheritance. 16For where a testament is, there must also of necessitybe the death of the testator. 17For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of nostrength at all while the testator liveth” (Hebrews 9:15-17).God Declares Today There Is No “Private - Personal Interpretation”Of Any Old Or New Testament Prophecy Or Doctrine“16For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you thepower and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17For he receivedfrom God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellentglory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 18And this voice which came from heavenwe heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. 19We have also a more sure word of prophecy;whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the daydawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scriptureis of any private interpretation.21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: butholy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” (2 Peter 1:16-21).

Today, millions of reckless denominational Bible students, and some gospel preachers and brethren among  churches of Christ,  rush to find a new 21st century  New Testament “interpretation” of thousands of Old Testament“prophecies.”  They have forgotten that because all Old Testament “prophecy” about Christ  has already been -“fulfilled” -  such biblical speculation is a waste of time, energy and faith. Wild personal opinions and premonitions are no substitute for God’s inspired teaching.Wake up brethren and notice what Christ declared about this issue!

“44And he said unto them,These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, 46 Andsaid unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: 47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48And ye are witnesses of these things. 49And, behold, I send the promise of myFather upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high” (Luke 24:44-49).
